  3. Trips to Camp Thunderbird or Hohn Scout Reservation when a short-term reservation form is filed.

  1. Any trip that is 500 miles or more one way of the location where your unit regularly meets.
  2. Any trip to a National High Adventure Base.

  1. Must be received by the council service center two weeks prior to your trip.
  2. All tour permit applications must be printed neatly or typed.
The parent, for any activity that does not require a reservation, should fill out a permission slip. This would include field trips and campouts. Examples of programs where a permission slip would not be required would be summer camp and day camp. Permission slips are for your protection and do not need to be filed with the council service center.
