Webelos Camp

The Webelos Camp is a five-day, four-night camp complete with advancement activities focused on the NEW CUB SCOUT ADVENTURES in the new requirements! Each day offers a variety of pre-programmed activities including Pellet Guns, slingshots, archery, hiking, games, canoeing, swimming and fishing as well as other evening activities provided by our excellent staff. Webelos Scouts will enjoy the outdoors, play games, make new friends, learn Scouting skills and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Below is the anticipated schedule of activities for first-year Webelos during camp and a list of possible highlight activities.  As with Cub Akela Camp and Cub Adventure Camp, some modifications may be necessary.  A final schedule will be distributed during the leader’s meeting on the evening of day 1.  Second year Webelos will participate in the Thunder Scouts program as described later.

Day 1 Schedule – WEBELOS CAMP
1:00-2:00pm – check-in
2:00-5:00pm – swim checks
5:30pm – Retreat ceremony (lowering of flags)
5:45pm – Dinner
7:00pm – Leaders meeting
7:00-8:30pm – Camp-wide games
10:00pm - taps

Day 2-4 Schedule – WEBELOS CAMP
7:50am - Flag raising
8:00-8:45am - Breakfast    
9:00am-12:00pm – Program areas– rotation schedule provided at leader’s meeting evening of day 1
12:30-1:30pm - Lunch
2:00-5:00pm – Program areas
5:30pm – Retreat ceremony
5:45pm - Dinner
7:30-8:30pm – Campfire or games
10:00pm - taps

Day 5 Schedule – WEBELOS CAMP
7:50am – Flag raising
8:00-8:45am - Breakfast
9:00-9:30am - Checkout
