Family Camp

Load up the car and bring mom, dad, sister, brother…the whole crew to camp for a one night experience at Lake of the Ozarks Scout Reservation.

Family camps are a terrific opportunity for folks that are new to camping to ‘test their wings’ in a safe setting with experienced Scouts and Scouters on hand to help, and is a perfect way to expose a future Boy Scout to the outdoor camping experience.

The Family Camp program is designed to allow families to participate in all kinds of activities together. Cubs and their families will be able to test their skills at the BB Guns and archery ranges, (tentatively swim in our new pool in our aquatics center), cast a line in our lake, and learn about our natural world, hike around camp and more. By its design, Family Camp is a relatively unstructured program. Families may register for family camp individually or as part of a group from their pack or den.
