Come Enjoy The Five Rivers
Roundtable
... your scouting helper ...

The Greatest Show on Earth..... Next to your unit meetings.....

Come join the fun and fellowship in a true learning experience each month at Roundtable. Roundtable provides that little jump needed for Unit Leaders to learn about district programs, get information on upcoming themes, or find an answer to that nagging question you have about a Scout program. Through a mix of announcements, presentations, and group discussions it can easily be the most productive hour and a half you spend in scouting each month.

Make your Scouting job easier and keep up on changes in the program and activities each month by..... Attending Roundtables

About Roundtables from our other districts Council List.

Five Rivers Program Kick-off is held in August. It is a valuable aid in getting started for the school year.  There is a pot luck supper with a small cover charge for the meat and drinks. The location varies from year to year, so check for the latest information, you should be sent a reminder card. You are VERY much encouraged to make reservations so the cooks will know how many pork steaks, hamburgers and hot dogs to B-B-Q for us.

 Regular Roundtable
meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month (September through May), at 7:30 PM at the Wesley Methodist Church, Hwy. 179 at Wesley Road, in Jefferson City, MO. Most of the Scouters arrive around 7:00 PM to sign in, pick up handouts, visit with old friends and talk to our District Executive. From 7:30 to 8:00 is a joint meeting of Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and then they break up into a Cub Scout meeting and a Boy Scout meeting. There is Coca-Cola, Sprite (donated by Coca-Cola), coffee and ice with the honor system that covers the coffee and ice and some money left over to send flowers to sick or deceased Scouters.

Other meetings: For the convenience of our many volunteers, the District Commissioners meeting and the Miniconjou Chapter meeting of the OA's Nampa-Tsi Lodge are held the same date and place, but start at 6:30 PM
