Why I Want to Come Back to Camp

by an anonymous Great Rivers Council Summer Camper, 2003

I want to come back to summer camp because I have fun with my friends and cool buddies like JC, Aaron, Busker, and Nick, oh and Billy.  Joe is cool, too.  I like to have all this fun and learn at the same time with my friends and the cool thing is that at summer camp mom won't yell at me for goofing off.  I get to have all this fin and learn so much.  They should hold school like this.  JC, Nick, and Bill teach me all about nature (including girls.) Busker and Aaron tell me about life (including girls) and not to do drugs.

When I first camp to Camp I knew no one and JC and Nick were my counselors and they helped me.  Now, three years later they are still here and I am, too.  Aaron and Busker are new friends of mine. So, I now have new memories with them.  At summer camp even the goofy aquatics people teach you more than water stuff like rowing.  Nature people that teach the boringest classes even make if funner than it would be if an adult would make it.  I think I learn more at camp than school.

Have fun now, be bored at school.
