On behalf of the Great Rivers Council and the selection committee I am pleased to announce the selection of John K. Fabsits as Scout executive of the Great Rivers Council, Columbia, Missouri, effective January 1, 2020.

John began his Scouting career as District Executive at the Great Rivers Council in Columbia, Missouri. He moved on to become the Development Director

and later Assistant Scout Executive with the same Council. He was promoted to Director of Field Service in the former Greater Cleveland Council which became Lake Erie Council in Cleveland, Ohio where he has been serving since June 2016.

John is an Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow Vigil Honor member who enjoys running, traveling, attending concerts and sporting events, flea markets and volunteering with his college fraternity. John and his wife, Izzy share the house with their dog Shiloh.

Please join me in congratulating John as he joins in partnership with the volunteers and staff of the Great Rivers Council to deliver quality Scouting experiences to the young people of the communities we serve.
