Sail Master Program

The Great Rivers Council, Boy Scouts of America

would like to introduce the Sail Master program at Hohn

Scout Reservation.  The Sail Master program is designed to allow troops and crews to sign-up on a first-come-first-serve basis to receive basic sailing instruction, work on select requirements for small boat sailing merit badge, or just enjoy the day sailing on the Lake of the Ozarks. Instruction will be given to youth by one of the special members of the “Sail Master Corps”

Your troop or crew has four (4) Sail Master weekends to choose from:

April 20-22, 2001

May 4-6, 2001

Cost:

$5.00 per person.  This price includes use of sailboats and instruction.  Troops are responsible for bringing their own meals.

Requirements:

A maximum number of 15 individuals may participate in each of the Sail Master weekends.  Participants must be at least 13 years of age.  Past sailing experience is helpful, but not required.  A short-term camp reservation form must accompany this reservation.  All participants bring Class I Medical History form to camp with them.
