How do I enter my order?

First consult the Help file on your home page. Here you will see that to order you can either enter Scouts and enter for them (or have them order) or you can enter as a Unit. To enter for each Scouts setup the Scouts in the Scout link and click the order form next to each name. To enter the order as a Unit, go to the Orders link and click the order name (usually a date). Here you will enter your order (in the adjustments column), save, and submit to your Council. Make sure your entire order is entered as you can only enter the order once.

How do I order Prizes ?

Prize ordering is found under the Orders link (Scout and Unit Prize Ordering). If you do not see the prize order links, look in the Unit commissions (under Orders). Here you can check the Prize box and save. Then you will be able to see the prize order links under Orders. Some Councils may not offer prizes please check with them first.

What does 73% stays local mean as our unit only gets 33%?

 Over 73% stays local refers to the Local Council and Unit. A percent of the sales go to the local Pack or Troop to fund their Program. A portion of the funds go to the local Council that supports that Pack or Troop through Programs, Camps, & Activities... The Council determines the actual commission amount.

Can I order more popcorn (after original order submitted)?

You, your District, and your Council may change your order until the Council submits their final order to Trail's End.

This online order form looks weird - Why?

The system was built to order from the Scouts up. Many Units are choosing to bypass the Scout orders and go directly to the Unit order. This makes the order form very misleading. The adjustment column is meant to allow the Unit leader to adjust up or down what the Scouts have ordered. The excess column is meant to show the extra popcorn above what the Scouts ordered. If the Scouts ordered 0 the excess will be 100% of the adjustment, but the actual order column should be correct. The actual order column is what the Unit will receive for its order regardless of the route they choose to order. If the Unit makes an adjustment without a Scout order, the adjustment is their order. Popcorn too expensive to offer to customers.

Each year we conduct a considerable amount of consumer research to determine the product line for the year. Our goal is to continue to increase the Return to Scouting through the various products offered. We also strive to maintain a simple program based on 7 to 9 items which is the number consumers have told us offers the best variety without complicating the Sale .

What do we do to get $1000 and $2000 seller gifts?

For $1000 and $2000 sellers, there is a form that needs to be filled out and sent to your Council. The form can be found in the Guidebook on the www.trails-end.com website under incentives. These should be submitted to the council by December 18.

How do I enter Scout orders?

There are three steps to order for Scouts.

Enter Scouts by clicking on the Scouts link then the Edit link next to the Unit / Sub Unit name.

From the list of Scouts click the Order form and enter order.

Approve each order by checking the approve box to the left of the order line and save.

This will then update your Unit order form (Unit order for <order name>). If you do not have an order form link next to the Scout names in the Scout list (a box replaces it for allocation $), your Council is not allowing Scout orders. You can also enter your Scouts in and print a Username / Password report, this will give the Scouts a username and password they can use to enter their orders into the system. Have a great day

I didn't get an Order Confirmation. Why?

The order form is your confirmation. Once you submit your order to Council the order form shows you the date submitted, original order, and any changes made by your Council. If you have any question about what you ordered please look at your Order form or run a unit packing slip under the “Report” tab

I’ve forgotten my password:

If you forget your password you can have it emailed to you. Navigate to http://www.trails-end.com/  click on units and then on "Unit Popcorn system" and find the link for forgotten password. Follow the instructions to have the password emailed to your account.

The system keeps converting my 30 pack and 3-way tin order into cases.  I want individual items.

These items are shipped one to a case.  An individual item is a case.
