Online NLE Instructions

This training course has been optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 6 or greater. It has been tested with Firefox and AOL and found to work without difficulty.

Included within the training format are several video presentations from the BSA National NLE training. In order to view these video presentations, you will need to have Shockwave Flash, version 8 or 9 installed on your system. If you receive audio, but no video, it is most likely that you have Shockwave Flash 7 or earlier installed. You can download the most current version of Shockwave Flash direct from the Adobe website by clicking on the "Get Adobe Flashplayer" button at the bottom of this page, or here.

During the training course you will also be prompted to complete some written materials to assist you in the unit scenario segment of the training. The written materials can be obtained here.

Upon completion of the training, a small window will open at the top of your screen showing a BSA training card. Fill in your name, unit type, unit number, and district in the boxes provided. Clicking on the "Submit" button will forward the training record to the Council Office so that it may be recorded.

There is no possible way to consider each and every hardware and software configuration that may exist on any individual computer, so some conflicts may occur.
