Great Rivers Council, BSA 2008 Scouter Recognition Dinner

The 2008 Great Rivers Council Scouter Recognition Dinner will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 3300 Vandiver Drive, Columbia Missouri.

The evening will kick off at 6 p.m. with the Silver Beaver, James E. West and Great Rivers Eagle Scout Association Reception.

Dinner will be served at 6:30, followed by an evening recognition of the Council highlights of 2007, and an introduction of Council Officers and the District Leadership of the Great Rivers Council. Presentations will be made for Quality District Recognition, the Full Steam Ahead Award, the William D. Boyce James E. West Fellowship Award recepients, and the presentation of the 2007 class of Silver Beaver Award recepients.

All Scouters are invited to be a part of this evening honoring volunteer service in our council.

Service is Scouting's greatest legacy and the primary reason that the Boy Scouts of America is the world's premiere youth organization.
